This sensitive data is then securely transmitted to the payment processor and Internet merchant account. The end result is that funds are securely transferred from the buyer's credit card account to the merchant's credit card account. WebConduit does not retain credit card numbers in its database. online store and securely transmits it to the financial networks for real-time

gives you on-line access to your Internet credit card transactions and also allows you to

| 4. Internet Merchant Account |
| Just as in the physical world, a merchant on the Internet needs to
establish an Internet Merchant Account with a financial institution in order to accept
credit card payments. In an Internet transaction, the merchant and shopper are not in the
same physical location, so there is no card to swipe, and no signature received.
Therefore, an account referred to as an Internet Merchant Account must be established with
a bank in order to accept credit cards online. If you do not already have an Internet Merchant Account, we will help you set up an account through one of our partner banks. |
